Dhan Dhana Dhan kannada Movie Review

Dhan Dhana Dhan is a remake of 2002 Bollywood dud, Hum Kisi Se kam Nahin, and one of the achievements of this film is that it makes even the lifeless original look like a classic.
Now let’s get down to the other noteworthy achievements.
If anybody cares to know, this is the film where Lovely Star Prem has shed his poster boy image (?) and bashes up a hapless looking Adi Lokesh to flex his muscles. But in this process, Prem has bashed up his own I am Sorry: Matte Banni Preethsona which had released last week and was already struggling to get people the theatre. Although Lovely Star does reasonably well, the script and the direction are not even remotely lovely and they tank the film successfully.
The film is a story of a don (Adi Lokesh) who acts worse than a buffoon falling in love with Sharmila Mandre. But Sharmila Mandre is in love with Prem, who is a friend of Adi and who is also a friend of her brother Ravishanker who wants to get her married to a dude in Malaysia. Confusing, but who cares! So if Amithabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devagan could not make this story a success, there isn’t much of a chance with Prem, Ravishanker, Adi Lokesh and Sharmila Mandre making this any better.
Director Ramnath Rigvedi believes that one can tickle the funny bones by acting weird and all the hell unleashes thanks this belief of his. Everybody in the film is trying their best to make you giggle and things get unbearable after a point of time.
