The much awaited popular TV reality series, The Biggest Loser Asia is back with Season 2 !! This time expect to see more dramas and tough competition among the contestants. And oh, did I mentioned that the hot Marion Caunter is the host of Biggest Loser Asia 2 ? Yups, she is, replacing Sarimah Ibrahim.

The latest season is to be aired on Diva Universal (Asia) on ASTRO channel 702 on September 2010. If you are wondering, it is a rebranding of Hallmark Channel network. The change of the channel's name will commence on the 19th of September 2010.

The winner of the 2010 Miss Universe pageant went to Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara native. First runner-up was Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps, while second runner-up was Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell.

My Favourite Sport

Whats your favourite sport ? Well, for me I would say its basketball. Why do I start basketball at first ? It might sound be a lil funny to you but not so for me. In my late primary till early secondary school days, I had put on massive weight, till the extend of gotten a big spare tyre, if you get what i mean.

Yupz, short and fat plus being branded as a potato. It sad and demoralizing as I could not fit into my favourite jeans and t shirt that time too.

All of sudden, I saw this NBA game on the TV. It was L.A Lakers and Sacramento Kings playing against each other in the Western Conference finals. It was a nail bitting game and I would praise the player from L.A Lakers namely Kobe Bryant and Shaq O'neil.

The whole team were like invincible when both of them were playing. With Kobe Bryant attacking aggressively,not to mention his usual explosive moves that makes your jaws wide open !! and Shaq was dominating the board, its no wonder that the team eventually goes on to win the NBA title !! How awesome was that !!

Therefore, it has became a trend among my friends where we started picking up the game. It has become a passion till the extend of we did not mind walking to the court which half an hour from our house !!

It was a game where teamwork plays an integral part in winning games and of course in the process of learning, we got beaten quite badly but that doesn't deter us to give up the beautiful game.

Every sweat and blood drained during training and eventually we took the courage to play in the Adidas Streetball Challenge. It was a great experience to get to play with players around Malaysia.

Even till now, Im still playing the beautiful game in my uni with greated challenges and I have to play with talented players from the African nations and China !! Man, they are fast and strong but its definitely the best way to improve my basketball game and knowlegde !!

ME: Why toilet ? Isn't it the last place that you wanna go online ? *smirking*

YOU: When you are doing your big business, you are actually concentrating right ? so with that concentration you can actually get inspirations for you work be it presentation or assignments.

ME: That sounded quite true !!

YOU: Yeah, go try it one day and will get addicted..Trust me !!

ME: But how ? Dont tell me I need to pull a new LAN wiring to my toilet ?

Yvonne Sim Won FHM Girl Next Door 2010 Title

FHM Girl Next Door(GND) is a platform,sort of like a modelling aka beauty queen competition whereby the winner girl will win a lucrative modelling portfolio and of course, a guaranteed chance to appear in the front cover FHM Malaysia magazine. The result for this year? Yvonne Sim won the the coveted title among the 12 finalist.

After months of training from photoshoot,catwalks, and dance classes, this 21 years old interior designer lass from Ampang was the one who received the most applauses from the audiences during the FHM GND Finale last Friday at Euphoria,MOS. Rudy of MixFM and Moots of Hitz.fm hosted the event.

Comedian Douglas Lim was the last to grace the stage entertaining the crowd with his slapstick jokes and song while judges tallied the scores.

The guest judges for the night was the glamourous Miss Malaysia/Universe, Andrea Fonseka, FHM Malaysia chief editor, Simor Burgess, fashion designer Khoon Hooi and Trevor Teo, of Carlberg marketing director.

Yvonne Sim walked away with a windfall of RM5,000 in cash and RM2,000 worth of cash prizes from the sponsors. Not to mention, she had gotten herself a modelling portfolio with Andrew Models as well as appearing in the cover page March's FHM Malaysia issue.
