No one and nothing can hold back the Superstar from landing on home turf, hale and hearty. Though he is famous for his on-screen introductions, Rajnikanth's return was muffled by the Mumbai tragedy, with almost all the media guys turning their cams to the super-metro.
This, however, did not lessen the roar with which his fans greeted the icon as he emerged out of his car, clad in white, and with a Santa Claus beard.
Though Rajnikanth's time of arrival was a closely guarded secret, his fans thronged the airport for just a glimpse of their Thalapathy. The actor was seen waving to his fans and thanking them with folded hands. Fans thronged the roads leading to the airport, with his pictures and posters held aloft.
