Chevrolet Cruze Launched in Malaysia and Mini Review 2010

Chevrolet CruzeLaunched in Malaysia and Mini Review 2010

After successfully introduced in Europe, Australia, India and the Asean region, the Chevrolet Cruze is destined to make its debut and was launched on Thursday in Malaysia.

All in all, the awesome Chevrolet Cruze will retail at RM97,888, of course that excludes insurance and regulatory fees. The car will be available in blue, white and red colours.

Front view of a Chevrolet Cruze

If Cruze is positioned as a bargain car in Europe, it does have the quality and style especially functionality and value to give rivals Honda and Toyota a run for their money.

The initial impressions are that the Cruze is well-screwed. Chevrolet's new design gets the praises. The twin-port grille and coupe-esque roofline give the Cruze a sporty look, whilst the interior is classy and well finished.

Chevrolet's Cruze engine bay

Chevrolet Cruze has earned a 5-star rating from the European and Australian new car assessment programme (Euro-NCAP and ANCAP), will be equipped with a 1.8-litre and four-cylinder power plant.

The engine though is reasonably smooth, it is having flat spots and seem unwilling to rev even to their modest red-lines. But that is negligible as we are not even a racer or driving an F1 car.

Nice nice nice !!

Although it's not the most exciting car on the road, it doesn't disappoints. the Chevy Cruze corners competently, although a touch of under steer and body roll can let it down around tighter bends. And again, who would bother about that ?

Interior of a Chevy Cruze. Awesome nice !

The interior is well-proportioned and the sculpted seats offer good support. Surprisingly quiet in the cabin too which is a good indicator of build quality.

Full view of the Chevrolet Cruze

Space in this car is certainly on a par with the rest of the segment, with decent head and legroom in the rear. The boot is also an adequate size, but the sedan design lacks the loading practicalities of a hatchback.

There's no shying away from the fact that the Cruze is exceptional value for money. Equipment levels are good and the overall quality and finish is befitting of a much more expensive car.

Time for our national cars to look back on at their current car price and quality or end up to facing even tougher competitions from the foreign car manufacturers.

Jessica Michibata Exposed Her Cleavage, Feels The Heat in Malaysia

Jessica Michibata Feels the Heat in Malaysia

Malaysia is getting abit stirred up by Jenson Button's girlfriend, Jessica Michibata's dressing this afternoon during 2010 F1 Qualifying in Sepang, the Daily Mail reported. She risked offending the country's hardliners by wearing a dress with a plunging neckline, exposing her cleavage and her bra.

That is a real classy gown.

According to the Daily Mail, Jessica, 25, appeared to be taking note of the country's customs with her full-length gown.
The pose that caught her in controversy and I dont think there's anything wrong with that

"But the top half of her dress was perhaps a little too revealing. And when she sat down, the Japanese model hitched up her dress exposing her legs up to the knee," it reported.

Snappin away to the air in Sepang, nice bling phone !

"In most Western countries there would be nothing out of the ordinary about the way she dressed, however, in Malaysia, women are expected to dress with a little more modesty."

Modesty ? My foot !! Go walk around Pavilion, 1Utama and Curve area and some girls wear even worst than that ! Just because she's a foreign girl in a glitzy event, you cant just judge by her dressing..

Jenson Button of Mclaren Mercedes F1 and Jessica Michibata

IMHO, Jessica Michibata is among the best and my all time favourite among the F1 WAG (wife and girlfriend). Unique mixture look, healthy skin tone and quite tall for an Asian !! I'm so in love with her yo..Jenson Button is a real lucky guy indeed..

Both Ferrari and Mclaren will start at the tail end for 2010 Sepang Malaysia F1 Grand Prix. Chances for both teams to win are slim with Red Bull and Mercedes GP occupying the Top 10 on the grid

RM1,999,999 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched their new supercar, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. For a staggering RM1,999,999 (OTR without insurance) price tag, you get Mercedes-Benz’s latest and most advanced supercar, one created as a tribute to the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

The signature gullwing doors are obviously the highlight, although Mercedes-Benz has done well to recreate the original car’s classic long bonnet, short rear proportion and muscular stance, while retaining the distinctive front grille with the large, imposing three-pointed star logo. Inspired by aviation engineering, the interior is a wonderful concoction of Nappa leather, carbon fibre and metal trim, all of the finest quality.

Thanks to a combination of low weight count and explosive power, the SLS AMG accelerates from 0-to-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and on to an electronically limited top speed of 317 km/h. The aluminium body shell and chassis ensure that the weight count is low at 1620 kg. Power comes from a 6.2-litre V8 AMG engine that produces 571 PS (563 bhp) at 6800 rpm and 650 Nm at 4750 rpm. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission transmits the generated power to the ground via the rear two wheels.
